The Uptown Belt is made from 8-9 oz J & E Sedgwick English Bridle Leather. J & E Sedgwick is considered to be the premier saddle leather tannery, located in Walsall, England.
Their English Bridle Leather's heavy impregnated wax content makes it supple, durable and ideal for belts and wallets. The Uptown Belt is hand-made and hand-stitched to make a belt that will stand up to years of use that will look good on it. The Midtown Belt is hand-made and hand-stitched to make a belt that will stand up to years of use that will look good on it. It is available in 5 different colors of leather and with a choice of one of the following buckles: Solid Brass, Antique Brass, Matte Nickel and Shiny Nickel.
The most widely used sizing method is to buy a belt that is 2" larger than your pants size, or as some say: ONE SIZE UP. Example, if you wear a size 36 pants, you would order a size 38 belt.
Another method is to measure a belt you are currently using. Measure the distance from the inside of the buckle to your favorite hole.
